H264-based solution for contributions to TV channels
The new MPEG4/H264 encoding system enables small remote terminals to be connected to production centres for live transmissions of TV-quality videos and for real-time two-way satellite connections to the studio.
MBI's solution combines advanced encoding techniques (H264) with satellite transmission, thus enhancing transmission capacity of high-quality audios and videos and revolutionising production at competitive costs.
Using a reduced satellite bandwidth (2Mb/s) and a wide range of low-cost portable terminals (trailer-mounted or self-pointing) our solution is already being used by several European TV producers, who have been organising daily live transmissions and video reportages.
