Database to record the history of the preservation of historical and artistic artefacts

ARISTOS is a web application, developed using standard technologies, which is used to organise and manage the historical records of preservation of artefacts with particular emphasis on the history of the restoration and cataloguing of artefacts.

It was commissioned by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage regional offices in Pisa and is used as a model by all researchers in this field.

MBI designed and developed the relational database, which is at the heart of the project. In addition the entire system is hosted on MBI's own servers and MBI carries out continuous backup to guarantee data protection.
