MBI to attend SEATEC 2009
MBI will attend the 7th International Exhibition of Technology, Subcontracting and Design for boats, megayachts and ships
M.B.I. is co-operating with RAYMAR in the development of an innovative platform to provide entertainment and utility services on any type of vehicle. The unique feature of this solution is its triple-play architechture, which can be used with any type of system and connectivity available on board. The system includes a media centre with simple, yet sophisticated graphics.
During the exhibition SEATEC 2009, MBI will demonstrate its solutions as Raymar's guest in hall E, stand 1130.
The platform provides a comprehensive set of services (it also includes chart plotting), all of which can be distributed either from the on-board service centre (traditional media centre method), or from a remote service centre (IPTV method). The centre can therefore act as an aggregation point for content and services offered by third parties.
M.B.I. is co-ordinating the development of the first terrestrial network in Italy for trial communications based on the DVB-SH protocol and therefore has shown itself to be a European Company of Excellence in the development of interoperable and hybrid-network service platforms.
